About us

About us

We, the Chin Christian Association in Denmark (CCADK), are a nationwide Christian organization that serves as the heart of the Chin Christian community residing in Denmark. Since our establishment in 2004, we have been dedicated to uniting Chin Christians across the country and supporting our spiritual and cultural needs. Most of us, the Chin people from Myanmar (Burma), came to Denmark in 2004 as refugees, and we have built a new life together with faith at the center of our journey. Today, our association consists of more than 1300 members from various Chin congregations throughout Denmark. We are all Christians, and our faith continues to guide us. No matter where we are, we always hold firmly to our beliefs, keep our religious life alive, and strive to move forward—growing stronger in faith and in unity. We are committed to fostering spiritual growth, preserving our cultural heritage, and engaging with society. Through our various programs and activities, we strive to strengthen the faith, identity, and sense of community among our members while actively contributing to the broader Danish society.

Our core values: We place faith at the center of our activities, encouraging our members to deepen their relationship with Christ through prayer, worship, and biblical teachings. Recognizing the importance of preserving Chin culture and traditions, we work to maintain a connection to the cultural heritage of our members. We engage with the wider society in Denmark, promoting understanding, tolerance, and cooperation between different cultural and religious groups. The organization provides support and solidarity to Chin Christians, helping in various aspects of their lives, including spiritual, social, and practical needs.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission: Guided by the biblical principle that declares, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14), our mission is to embody the transformative power of Christ’s light within the Christian dispersion.

Our Vision: Our aims to create a society that radiates the love of Christ, fostering deep spiritual connections, celebrating diversity, and actively engaging in service to positively impact lives both within and beyond the Chin Christian society in Denmark.

Leadership

At CCADK, we stand as a beacon of faith, guided by a dedicated leadership team committed to fostering spiritual growth, societal engagement, education, and mission outreach. Our leadership structure is well-defined and organized, allowing us to govern effectively and coordinate our efforts to meet the diverse needs of our members.

Delegate Assembly Meeting: The Delegate Assembly Meeting is the highest authority within CCADK and serves as the primary decision-making body of the association. It plays a central role in shaping the direction of CCADK through policy approval, leadership elections, and strategic planning. Key responsibilities include formulating and approving policies, electing the Executive Committee, overseeing finances—including budget approval—and ensuring that decisions align with CCADK’s mission and values. The assembly also represents the voices of all members of the organization and holds leadership accountable to ensure transparency and integrity. Decisions are made through collaboration and consensus, reflecting the unity and shared vision of the CCADK community.

Executive Committee: At the top of CCADK’s leadership is the Executive Committee (EC). Comprising individuals with a deep commitment to the association’s mission and vision, this team oversees the overall direction and strategy. The General Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Assistant Treasure work collaboratively to provide vision, ensure fiscal responsibility, and steer the association toward its objectives.

Department Leaders: CCADK’s mission is further strengthened by its core departments, each dedicated to nurturing the spiritual, educational, and community life of its members. These departments are led by committed individuals who bring vision and leadership to their respective areas of service.

Staff: Behind the scenes of CCADK’s activities is a dedicated staff team that ensures the smooth operation of the association’s daily functions. From handling administrative responsibilities to supporting events and communication, the staff plays a crucial role in enabling the Executive Committee and departmental leaders to focus on their core missions. Their commitment, efficiency, and servant-hearted spirit help bring CCADK’s vision to life and foster a strong, organized, and welcoming environment for all members.

What We Do

CCADK is a dynamic network dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, community service, and global outreach. At its core, CCADK is driven by a commitment to Christian values and principles, aiming to create a supportive and empowering environment for believers worldwide.

CCADK is at the heart of a vibrant spiritual movement that emphasizes personal transformation, social justice, and community engagement. This movement encourages believers to live out their faith through acts of service, advocacy for the marginalized, and efforts to promote peace and reconciliation. Central to this spiritual awakening is a focus on prayer, worship, and the study of scriptures, which underpin the organization’s activities and initiatives. Our spiritual movement also prioritizes holistic development, addressing not only the spiritual needs but also the emotional, social, and physical well-being of individuals. Through its expansive network and inspiring spiritual movement, we continue to make a profound impact, fostering a global community united in faith, love, and service.

Guided by a commitment to love and serve others, we engages in compassionate outreach, embodying the essence of its mission and vision. Our dedication to helping the poor reflects the association’s commitment to putting its principles into action. We implements society-based assistance programs that aim to alleviate the challenges faced by economically disadvantaged individuals and families. These programs include food drives, clothing distribution, and financial aid initiatives designed to address immediate needs and provide a supportive safety net. In alignment with our commitment to holistic empowerment, the association invests in educational and skills development programs for those facing economic hardships. We seeks partnerships with local organizations, charities, and governmental bodies to amplify the impact of its outreach programs. Through collaborative initiatives, we aims to address systemic issues contributing to poverty and enhance the overall well-being of the society.  We are ready to provide emergency relief and crisis support to individuals and families facing unforeseen challenges.
